The film that carried Deepika Padukone made the collection of 100 cr within just four days and then after 11 days the film scored Rs. 200 crore mark. With this film, we now can be call Deepika Padukone the ‘Queen of the Rs. 200 crore club’. Let’s check the five reasons that makes her so:
1). Seven films in 100 Crore
As the film Padmaavat reached the coveted Rs. 100 crore club, we can call Deepika Padukone turning out to be the only actress in B Town to have seven films reaching into this club.
2). Two films made 100 crore within four days
Padmaavat is not just the only film to make 100 crore in four days, but her film Happy New Year, she has gained the figure in just three days.
3). Three films with Bhansali in 100 crore club
She did three films with Sanjay Leela Bhansali which include the current one Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Interestingly Ranveer too was the past of these three film that have gained that figure another reason that she is the queen of this club.
4). Two of her film with Shah Rukh Khan
Two of her 100 crore film was done with the King of Romance the SRK. These include Chennai Express and the other called Happy New Year that have entered into the 100 crore club.
5). Quick 100 crore grosser
All the films that entered into the 100 crore club were quick to enter the 100 crore except the Abbas Mastan film Race 2, which took 63 days to enter into this club. These include Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Bajirao Mastani, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Padmaavat, and Happy New Year, all these film made the Rs. 100 crore mark in a maximum of 10 days.
