zaira wasim

After getting trolled for meeting the J&K Politician Mehbooba Mufti, Zaara Wasim, she posted her apology has finally spoken up for his Dangal co-star Zaira Wasim and he wants trollers to leave her alone! The 16 year old who rose to fame after portraying young Geeta Phogat in Dangal, found her in a big mess after she clicked a picture with the CM of Kashmir. While many from the industry voiced their support for the young actress, Aamir Khan too has now spoken up.

He shared a tweet, urging trollers to back off and stop harassing the 16 year old. After reading Zaira’s statement on social media and soon deleting the same, Aamir has responded to the whole scenario. In support of his co-star the 51 year old said, “I have read Zaira’s statement, and I can understand and imagine what led her to make that statement. Zaqira, I want you to know that we are all with you.

The beauty is that bright, young, talented, hardworking, respectful, caring and courageous kids like you are a role model for kids not only in India but across the world. You certainly are a role model for me! May god bless you. Love. Aamir. P.s. I appeal to everyone to now leave her alone and respect the fact that she is just a 16 year old girl trying her best to deal with life. The child artist recently met with J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti and put the picture on her social media handles. However, she deleted the posts after facing severe backlash from trolls. She posted an apology on Facebook and later deleted it.

Here’s an excerpt of what she said, “I know that many people have been offended and displeased by my recent actions or by the people I have recently met. I want to apologise to all those people who I’ve unintentionally hurt and want them to know that I understand their sentiments, especially considering what has happened (in Kashmir) over the past six months
