Imran Khan is also known to extend his support for any social cause apart from being popular as chocolate hero. According to him, he has extended support to an NGO called Helping Hand who works for Cancer Patients. This all happened 4 months back when he was eating mixed nuts and at the back of its packet, he saw the ad of Helping Hand, which made him explore about the same. He was touched to hear the stories of cancer battling patients, and call the support as the basic humanitarian work, which compelled him to support the NGO for this noble cause.
Despite being busy handling the fatherhood complications, he has extended his support for this cause wherein he is helping the NGO financially and with his personal brand, he has in the Bollywood. Though he is still to get involved in a big way apart from the media presence the cause demanded, but promises to contribute soon in a better and smarter way. Unlike the earlier causes, he has been active and steady in this cause as well wherein he would be participating in a number of awareness campaigns for the cancer patients. According to him, it was his mother who always encouraged to think about others, which has made him active in this domain.
