Sweet and Subtle Film showcasing middle age couple disputes in a realistic fashion

Plot

The film is made at the backdrop of Varanasi and it happens to be a family drama, which explores the relationship of a middle age couple. The film also showcases the loving someone is not just enough but expression of love make things important. So, what really goes would be interesting to explore in the nearest cinema.

Review

It is a very simple film when we compare it with other film of Sanjay Mishra like Masaan and Ankhon Dekhi. One can find the film having no emotions in it along with keeping things simple and decent. As you start catching up the film you would see things in hollow and inventiveness about the householder who feels that giving material stuff is the only sole thing to give. So, the film has managed to showcase the relationship in the most realistic manner and the way couple in the midst react and act at this stage sums up the film.

Now talking about the performances, let’s start with Sanjay Mishra who played the lead role called Yashwant. He seemed excursive and eloquent and is able to showcase his emotions with great conviction and vigor. Talking about Ekavali Khanna who is playing the role of Sanjay’s wife, she has been soluble and simple besides being powerful in her performances. She has tried to keep herself unexpressed as the character has demanded from the lady.

If you talk about the supporting roles played by different actors too remained part particularly the one played by Pankaj Tripathi who plays the character of a dotting and loving husband of dying wife.  The other elements like music, screenplay, and direction remained par as per the expectation, while the technical elements like editing and other things too helped to boost up the entertainment value of the movie in a big way.

Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain The Last Word

The film though happens to be small but it has a big heart unleashing the realities of life in a simple and lucid way. And yes the power packed performances by the lead actors have made things really interesting for the film to catch this weekend. If simple films based on family drama and realities attract you, one can think of catching it in the coming weekend.
