This is a familiar name, which revolves the life of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy actor Shushant Singh Rajput. Ankita Lokhande is a TV actress who started with her career in Zee TV. She was born in Indore on 19^th December 1984 in a Maharashtrian family. Since her childhood she was keen to make her career in acting world, hence was seen leaving her education in the midst to reach Mumbai the city of dreams to pursue her career in acting. With a brief struggle she got the chance to work with one of the TV serials of NDTV Imagine called Bali Umar Ko Salaam playing in opposite to Jay Soni, however, due to some technical reasons, the show couldn’t was seen on air.

With more efforts to make an entry into smaller screens, she got the chance to work with one of the serials of Zee TV called Pavitra Rishta along with Shushant Singh Rajput in 2009. This was the time when she worked with Shushant and became close to him to soon turn into a living relationship in Mumbai. The serial has given a good exposure to Ankita thus making her one of the highly paid actress in small screen with around 90,000 to 1.15 lakhs per episode. The character of Archana in this popular TV serial gave her a good exposure in the media turning a powerful actress in small screen. Now talking about  personal life, she is currently dating actor Shushant Singh Rajput. The two have been working for several years in the daily soap called Pavitra Rishta. After turning friends they soon fall in love with each other. As per reports, Shushant proposed her lady love at the sets of Jhalak Dhikla Jaa. Soon the couple went into living relationship and has plans to marry. Though the marriage plans are not for immediate as at times we hear differences between the too also surfacing. Yet the couple claimed to be committed time and again and would marry one fine day. Tej actress has been recognized with four different awards for the same daily soap called Pavitra Rishta. These include the Indian Television Academy Awards: GR8!
