What Anurag Kashyap has to say about Pahlaj Nihalani’s ouster from CBFC?
Ever since the news of Pahlaj Nihalani being shows the gates sacking him from being the chief CBFC, the whole of Bollywood seems to be celebrating the premature Diwali. Well, at this juncture, one the filmmaker from B Town who many assumed would be the happiest man is none other than Anurag Kashyap and yes he has turned out to be a very happy man. Now, talking about the sacking of CBFC chief he said that he has been happy since he heard about the news and that called it to be a wow moment. He is more happy because this man is out especially when his movie is all set to release from a short while from now.
He then said his upcoming movie was all set to shock the censor board as it has nothing to censor but before that the man with objections was sacked. He then was asked to comment about the new CBFC chief called Prasoon Joshi who is now being appointed as the chief of the censor board, he said that he might disagree with a couple of things with this new man but he is an okay man apart from being an open person. He said he is a man which one can have a dialogue. He then said the government in power will have a person of their choice and the one who has been aligned with their ideologies. He said that there should be no censorship and only certification remain. He feels that Prasoon Joshi is such kind of person who believes in such a theory as he has often talked about it.
He then said about Pahlaj Nihalani and called his style of working like a court who used to sit down and can make you stand and talk for even three hours and even lecture you a lot about his kindness.
