Baaghi Box Office Prediction

Baaghi Box Office Prediction

Box Office Collection Depends upon the Word of Mouth Buzz

The Sabbir Khan directed film – Baaghi is all set to release this Friday. The film has a decent buzz in the media, which seems to have come forward owing to the promotion carried out by the lead actors of the film apart from the makers as well. The Sajid Nadiawala produced film Baaghi is a story of two rebels coming together, which is loosely based on a Korean film. The film was also seen in a controversy on the issue of copyright as some other production company was claiming to have the remake rights from the original producers of the movie.

Anyway, these controversies are created simply to intensify the buzz of the movie, however, what lays within matters the most. The strategies of marketing any film do not often translate into business. The classic example comes in the form of recently released film of Shah Rukh Khan called Fan. Despite huge marketing and promotion, the film failed to surpass the expectations of the makers including SRK. The film is still to enter in the 100 crore club despite passing the two weekends. One can therefore guess the business of movies like Baaghi, which have novices in the lead roles.

Though the film promises some fierce action and good dance and sensual sequences of Shraddha Kapoor seen in Blue Bikini along with the lip-lock session of two old friends (Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff) coming the first time over the silver screen but giving some good business is something different. Yet one cannot rule out completely the chances of making some decent collection out of this film though not like Fan or any other SRK movies. You can therefore expect not less than 4-5 crores on the first day collection with 13-18 crores in the first weekend collection. All depends upon the word of mouth publicity for the film, which will be only gauged once the film hits the theatres.
