Bajirao Mastani Box Office Prediction- More Audience Less Collection
Two big movies hitting the theatre tomorrow (Christmas 2015)- the SRK starrer Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. Once again a Bhansali film is competing with SRK starrer film after Om Shanti Om & Sawaria in 2007. However, the battle of box office this Friday would be different this time for obvious reasons. Talking about the Sanjay Bhansali Film – Bajirao Mastani, it has already created a good buzz in the media yet Shah Rukh Khan has been the king of Box Office as well, which may not give the edge to Bajirao Mastani.
Bajirao Mastani is a period love story of Peshwa Bajirao and his love for his second wife called Mastani played by Deepika Padukone. As per the trade pundits and industry experts, Bajirao Mastani will rule the single screens as compared to Dilwale which has targeted more at the multiplexes. Thus Bajirao Mastani has secured higher number of screens as compared to the SRK multiplexes screens giving better chances of box office collections. As per experts, the balance though is slight tilted towards Bajirao Mastani as they have more number of single screens with them.
So, one can expect a collection of around 20-22 crores on the first day, which can even go down considering the fact that the multiplex collection is higher than the single screens in any city or town. Hence Bajirao Mastani would have the volumes of audience catching up this film, which may not be the case with the Rohit Shetty film. Perhaps you can make out the equation between the two.
