Bareilly Ki Barfi box office collection prediction

Bareilly-Ki-Barfi-new-poster

The Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao  starrer movie known as the romcom Bareilly Ki Barfi is all set to hit the theatres. The film directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s was supposed to hit the theatres on 21st of July but soon it was averted to 18th August. The trailer of the film released earlier seems to have created a decent buzz in the media. Despite this being the first film of Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who happens to be the newbie in the industry, her earlier films including The New Classmate released in the year 2015 along with the Tamil drama movie called Amma Kanakku seems to be doing good rounds over the box office.

This is the first time when the director is working with the B Town stars including Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon along with Rajkummar Rao. The trailer seems to be promising and it shows how Kriti is playing the character of a small town girl called Bitti whose mom seems to be looking out for a groom for her, but she doesn’t  want to settle down for anything less than for a man who will accept her the way she is. Ayushmann Khurrana is playing the character called Chirag Dubey, who owns a printing press and is wooing Kriti.

As far as the number of screens, the film is likely to get around 1800, which is still a decent number. However, with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha seems to be doing well over the box office. We now hear that the film seems to get hamper to some extent. The actor Rajkummar Rao is playing the key role of a ‘kabab mai haddi’ in their story. He is playing the character Pritam Vidrohi with whom Bitti falls in love., So, with such a buzz, the first day collection for Bareilly Ki Barfi would be around 4 to 5 crores. However, if the word of mouth buzz for the film goes up, the movie is likely to do better with the collection shooting up to around 20 crores on its first weekend.
