When Befikre hit the theatres last Friday, it was surrounded by a good buzz. With a two figure crore collection at the box office not just on the first day but the same buzz and collection in the first weekend, the film was supposedly thought to do better over the box office during the weekdays as well, however, that’s not the story when the week ended with a meager buzz.
The film went down during the week days and certainly failed to prosper unlike the way it was expected to do during the weekend collection. As per reports, the rom com musical film called Befikre first week box office collection tolled to round 48.75 crores.
The makers were expecting to cross the collection of 50 crores in its first opening week, however, soon it died down for many reasons unknown. The second weekend will be critical for the movie, however, with erotic drama film – Wajah Tum Ho releasing, the ron com is likely to get hampered to some extent.
Well, let’s see how things go for the film featuring Ranveer Singh, Vaani Kapoor and Armaan Ralhan against the erotic drama. This is only the time to secure much of the collection since the bigwig B Town film like Dangal starring Aamir Khan, the makers of Befikre have much to lose for their film in terms of the second or third week collection for the movie.
