Here comes the first look still of the upcoming film called Begum Jaan, which features Vidya Balan and Gauahar Khan. The motive is still seen surfacing over the web that features both the actress in a de-glamourous looks.
As you check the still, Vidya Balan is seen smoking a hookah and Gauahar Khan is serving her. In this movie, Vidya Balan will be seen playing the key role of the madam of a brothel in the film. The film happens to be a Hindi adaptation of the Bengali film called ‘Rajkahini‘, which is a film by National Award-winning filmmaker Srijit Mukherji.
The film is based on the real time trauma that is faced by displaced women in the dreaded brothel during the time of partition. The movie also stars Pallavi Sharda, Priyanka Sethia, Flora Saini, Ridhima Tiwari, Ravija Chauhan and Poonam Rajput in the lead roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on March 17, 2017.
