Dangal is all set to break all the earlier records in Bollywood !!! Well, so say the statistics . Trade verdict has been released which gives terrific figures of Dangal’s first day box office collection. Dangal collected about 30 crore on it’s opening day. Then the last Sat and Sun, it made a collection of 60 crore . Now after having completed one 5 days at the box office, it is still going very strong with a total collection of a whopping 178.56 crore. This Aamir Khan movie is enjoying great word of mouth from celebs and common viewers. Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are full of allusions to this film which has been declared a hit on it’s first day itself.
Aamir Khan plays the role of Mahavir Phogat who trains his four daughter since childhood to become champions in wrestling. This feminist drama with loads of comic situations and patriotic feelings imbibed in it became a runaway hit all through the week. Dangal is still going very strong at the box office which means we may see the film crossing bigger milestones in it’s collections very soon. Till now we know that Bollywood film which had worldwide highest collection was Aamir’s PK with 798 crore till date. PK is also the highest earner in Bollywood in the country. With only one week having passed, it is sure that Dangal is going to enter into the 200 crore club and may enter the 300 crore club too.
Sultan and Jungle Book are the highest grosser of the year till now. Dangal is following them at number third as yet. There are all the chances that it may leave them behind as the number one grosser of the year 2016. So let’s wait and watch how Dangal’s journey at the box office turns out.
