Bhojpuri Actress Amrita Pandey’s Tragic Death: 27-Year-Old Left a Cryptic WhatsApp Note Before Passing Away

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the tragic passing of Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey, known by her screen name Annapurna. On Saturday, Amrita was found deceased in her apartment in Bihar, having died by suicide. Hours before her untimely death, she posted a cryptic note as her Whatsapp status, leaving those close to her in shock and disbelief.

The Jogsar Police discovered Amrita’s lifeless body on a bed in her residence at Divyadharma Apartment in Adampur Ship Ghat. According to statements from her family, it was her sister who first discovered the heartbreaking scene. In a devastating turn of events, Amrita’s sister entered her room at 3:30 pm and found her hanging from a noose. The family wasted no time and rushed her to the nearest hospital, where she was unfortunately declared dead upon arrival.

Amrita’s family suggests that she was battling depression, likely due to a difficult phase in her career. In 2022, she had married an animation engineer from Bilaspur, who resides in Mumbai. The couple had been looking forward to a promising future together.

Prior to the tragic incident, Amrita shared a cryptic message on her Whatsapp status, which read, “Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya” (Her life was sailing in two boats, we sank our boat to make her journey easier). The Jogsar Police is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Amrita Pandey was last seen in the web series Pratishodh and had worked alongside Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav in the film Deewanapan.

According to reports from Times Now, Amrita had been battling depression and mental health issues for some time, actively seeking treatment to alleviate her condition. She resided in Mumbai with her husband, leading a life that appeared outwardly normal to those around her.

A few days before the tragic incident, Amrita had traveled to Bhagalpur to attend a family wedding. She extended her stay in her hometown, never giving any indication of the heartbreaking decision she would ultimately make.
