Why Deepika Padukone traveled secretly to Rajasthan: Know the Real reason
It is for a reason that Deepika Padukone is touted as one of the most bankable actress of the country. Usually, a director goes on recce trips for their movie but looks like, actors have also started going on recce trips. That’s right! Recently, Deepika Padukone had secret recce trips to Chittorgarh, and Rajasthan in order to prepare for the upcoming movie Padmavati. As Deepika last shot for the movie in 2016, the actress is leaving no stone unturned to prep up for the role.
According to sources, Deepika is doing extensive research to portray the role of a queen and so, she had secret trips to get a feel of the queen’s character. So much so that the actress travelled to the historic cities without her team and researched on local history to get into the skin of her character. Kudus, Miss Padukone! Ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced the film, there have been several roadblocks and the director had no choice but to postpone the shooting of the movie.
To begin with, the lead actors of the movie, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor had major differences which later, were sorted. Thereafter, while filming in Jaipur, Sanjay’s film set was burnt the director was beaten. Thereafter, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to face similar repercussions in Kolhapur as members of the Karni Sena vandalized the sets and attached the filmmaker. Padmavati is an Indian period drama based on the life of Rani Padmini, a legendary queen mentioned in Padmavati. Padmavati stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
