Gurmeet Choudhary is a known face over smaller screen apart from being a model who has walked a number of ramps and seen in different commercials over TV. He is also a movie actor and dancer as well. He hails from Chandigarh though his family has their origin from Jairampur- Bihpur based in Bhagalpur district of Indian state Bihar. However, he was brought up in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and Chennai since father served in Indian Army due to the transferable jobs. Most of his eduction was completed in Jabalpur itself, while he was very much fond of acting since his childhood days and seen participating in a number of plays. He also participated in a different fashion shows was even crowned as Mr. Jabalpur leading him to a bigger stage of Mr. India contest.

At the tender age of 18, he was seen joining the theatres slogged a lot to reach out to this level of success. As far as his personal life is concerned, he is married to his friend Deblina Bonnerjee way back in 2011 as they have come closer while working for a TV series of the character Ram and Sita. He started his career with modelling doing a number of commercial ads and walking over so many ramps. This gave him enough opportunity to get a couple of TV serials. He was seen playing the character of Maan Singh Khurana in the serial called Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi, he then did another show called Punar Vivah, which made him popular for his character called Yash Sindhia.

He was even seen participating in a dance reality show called Jhalak Dikhla Jaa along with a couple of contests and with his wife Debina Bonnerji wherein he embarked as its first runner up. He was also seen Fear Factor in the season 5, wherein he was appreciated for his stunts and secured successfully as the first runner up. After all he is a trained martial art professional. He then got a chance to do a couple of south Indian movies, while his first Bollywood movie is the upcoming film called Khamoshiyan. The movie is all set to hit the theatres this Friday on 30^th of January 2015 with main leads as Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi along with him.
