Hemant Pandey Biography :
He is more known for his comic role at Doordarshan called Office Office. He is a known TV actor who is equally well known over the silver screen for playing smaller and comic roles in Bollywood movies. He originally hails from Uttarakhand from a place called Pithoragarh. He did his schooling and college from his birthplace only, however, after his studied he headed to New Delhi wherein he joined one NGO called Janmadhyam and Allaripu wherein he started his career of acting with street plays, later he switched over to theatres to do a couple of shows. Finally he shifted to Mumbai to start his formal career in acting. According to him all his childhood has gone in watching the comedy of Johny Lever and other comedians on big screen, which inspired him to tread this path.
After shifting to Mumbai, he continued with theatre and with little time duration, he got a role in a TV show called Hera Pheri. This followed a couple of others including Office Office in 2000, Tammana House and Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi. His comic role in Office Office was a big hit, which even helped him to find a break in Bollywood movies starting with the movie Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai starring Tusshar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Since then it was no seeing back as he got a number of movies including Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Badhaai Ho Badhaai, Fareb, Krrish, Detective Naani, Sankat City, Kaalo, Ready and 2 Nights in Soul Valley.
Currently, he is engaged in a TV program called Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, which is aired over Ghasita. This is a role of a common villager who is being burdened by his poverty and happens to be the only bread earner of the family. His performance for the said character has been appreciated by audience and critics. Apart from working in this TV series, he is also seen in Kahani Comedy Circus Ki, which is aired in Sony TV. Here he is participating as a stand up comedian. He has been awarded with a couple of TV channels.
