Kakuda Trailer Review: Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha & Saqib Saleem Promise Laughter Amidst a Deadly Curse

The highly anticipated Kakuda trailer has finally been released. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, who recently delivered the blockbuster hit Munjya, this upcoming horror comedy features an impressive cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, and Saqib Saleem. As mentioned in the trailer, the story is based on a peculiar folklore.The Kakuda trailer introduces us to the cursed village of Rathoda, where every house has two doors—one big and one small. Every Tuesday, at 7:15 pm, it is believed that people should keep the small door open for the ghost who targets men. Failure to do so will result in a curse that brings death upon the man of the family.
Unfortunately, Indira’s (Sonakshi Sinha) husband, Sunny, forgets to leave the door open, and as a result, he becomes cursed by the vengeful ghost.The curse dictates that the man will meet his demise on the 13th day. Indira initially dismisses the tale of Kakuda as mere superstition, refusing to believe its validity. However, the villagers assure her that the curse is real. It is at this point that we are introduced to Victor (Riteish Deshmukh), a self-proclaimed Ghost Hunter. Victor arrives in Rathoda with the intention of saving Sunny’s life. As the story progresses, the characters encounter bizarre incidents and delve deeper into the truth behind the curse.The Kakuda trailer promises an entertaining experience. It bears similarities to Stree, as it is the men who find themselves at the mercy of the evil affliction.
However, it becomes apparent that a malevolent spirit is involved, and the movie will likely reveal the reasons behind these strange occurrences. Riteish Deshmukh’s portrayal of Victor brings comedic relief to the narrative, and his performance is anticipated to make a lasting impression.
