Kartik Aaryan is an Indian actor who was born 22nd November 1990 and often appears in Hindi movies. He was born and brought up in Gwalior. He did his schooling in Gwalior and later headed to Mumbai to pursue in Biotechnology Engineering from the reputed Navi Mumbai based college called D Y Patil College of Engineering. While he was pursuing his engineering, he used to try giving his auditions since he always wanted to be an actor. However, he gave up after not getting selected for the same and later tried his luck in modeling. He then joined an acting course in Kreating Charakters institute and then informed his parents his wish to be an actor.

While he was in his third year when Luv Ranjan, the B Town filmmaker spotted him for the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011 with Divyendu Sharma, Nushrat Bharucha, and Raayo S Bakhirta. In fact, the call for the film after the director has seen some of his pictures on Facebook. However, it took six months to start the film. His debut gave him a decent buzz about the actor and his acting skills giving him recognition in the industry. Since then it was no looking back for the actor. The next film he did was Akaash Vani in 2013, while the next year it was Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. The next year it gave another film called Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2.

Some of his other films include Silvat, Guest in London, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and now his next film Luka Chuppi is in the post-production phase, which is all set to hit next year in 2019. Besides, films he was also seen once on the small screen when he remained the host of the 19th IIFA Awards. He is also into modelling and has been chosen as the brand ambassador for the Emami Fair and Handsome cream along with the body spray Envy 2000. In the year 2016, he has remained the active member of Stars Football Club that helps in raising charity money with the football matches involving B Town actors like Ranbir Kapoor and others. He has bagged the award for films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2 for best entertainer along with Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Awards and Vogue Beauty Awards for the same.
