Kochadaiiyaan Overview :
Kochadaiiyaan is the upcoming Indian Tamil movie, Kochadaiiyaan stands for a king who has long curly tresses. It is a period film that stars the legendary actor, Rajinikanth. Soundarya R. Ashwin has directed by the movie while the story is penned by K.S. Ravikumar. Other important roles have been played by Deepika Padukone, R. Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi and others. Rajinikanth enacts three leading roles that have also been voiced by him. A. R. Rahman has given the background score as well as the soundtrack. The movie is set to release around the world in Tamil, dubbed Hindi version and dubbed Telugu version under the name, Vikrama sinha on 1st May, 2014. Seeing the popularity, the makers are even planning for Marathi, Bhojpuri, Japanese, Bengali, Punjabi and even an English version.
 Rajinikanth plays all three roles of Kochadaiiyaan, Rana as well as Sena while Deepika Padukone will essay the character of Princess Vadhana. The movie is a story of three different kings and captures the war that takes place between them, across different generations. Jackie Shroff plays Raja Mahendra and Aadhi as Veera Mahendra. R. Sarath kumar has essayed the role of Sengodagan, who is Rishi kodagan’s (played by Nasser) son in the movie. The film brings back Nagesh, the late comedy star, to the screen with the help of technology. The action sequences of the movie have been choreographed by Peter Hein while cinematography has been done by Rajiv Menon. Interestingly, the songs have been choreographed by Saroj Khan, Chinni Prakash, Raju Sundaram and Soundarya’s (the director) wife.
