Kriti Sanon the leading lady in Bachchan Pandey Opposite Akshay Kumar
2019 has been great for the actress Kriti Sanon. She has one big film this year Luka Chupi with Kartik Aaryan, while the other Arjun Patiala has just hit the screens. The very same year she has bagged a big film Panipat by Ashutosh Gowariker apart from Farhad Samji’s Housefull 4. Now we hear that the lady has signed a movie opposite Akshay Kumar called Bachchan Pandey. The film was earlier titled as the Land Of Lungi or LOL but has been named with a different title.
Bachchan Pandey has Farhad Samji as the director, while it will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The makers have released the first look poster of the film which seems to be going viral on the web. Now, they have confirmed Kriti for the said movie in the leading lady role. The film happens to be the remake of the Tamil movie called Veeram which was released in 2014. It had Ajith Kumar and Tamannah Bhatia in the lead roles. Akshay Kumar would be playing the lungi-clad hero played by Ajith.
It will be a rural drama having its base in South India. Akshay Kumar would be seen in a completely new avatar and indulging into some hard-core and hand-to-hand combat sequences. The story of the film revolves around him who is the elder brother of four brothers. Bachchan Pandey is a loving, caring, and a non-violent elder brother and a good family ma and turns violent when it comes to his family. He then falls in love with Kriti’s character that changes Bachchan Pandey. The makers are yet to decide upon the four brothers as yet. The film will be releasing in 2020 Christmas.
