The Star Plus TV serial called Mangalsutra is one of upcoming TV serial of the said channel. The TV serial is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The TV serial has Ragini Khanna and Ankit Gera in the main leads apart from having the popular TV actors like Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the cameo. Balaji Telefim, which is behind this TV serial, has been known in the TV world for a number of TV shows including Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatien, while its last venture was Kuch ToHai Tere Mere Darmiyaan, which failed to connect with the audience thus turning a flop in the industry.
As far as the story of the TV serial is concerned, it revolves around the life of a woman played by RaginiKhanna, who is seen finding all odds in order to shield her husband for being very much protective. The plot of the TV serial is loosely inspired by the story of Savitri, who even went to Yamraj to snatch her husband’s life. The show is replaced by EktaKapoor’s other TV serial called Naagin aired at the same channel.
As far as the number of days is concerned, the TV serial would be on air for five days on the prime channel, however, the timings are yet to be announced by the channel. But as of now, the only update is that this TV serial would be seen in Star Plus, which was also battled by Colors. But at the end who offered more moolah seemed to have won the show.
