‘MENTAL’ title from Mental Hai Kya is likely to Change, Check Details
As we see the pressure mounting on our day to day life, the mental issues among the modern day people are becoming rampant. This has made the filmmakers to make films on such issues, however, this time the producers Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh Singh have adopted a similar theme to make a comedy-drama film. The film is called has Mental Hai Kya having Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut playing the leading roles in it. However, if you believe the reports, the makers are now willing to get rid of the term Mental from the title.
This has also raised controversy in the media as many disliked the mental word in the film. The sources claimed that the makers were not willing to change as it turned out to be an issue in the media as they thought with time the issue will die down its own. They also added that they have little options to try when it comes to naming the title of the film.
However, when they saw the issues not dying down, they felt it is all about facing the objection or change the title. People from different quarters and NGO groups also have targetted the title including the NGO group called Love Laugh foundation owned by Deepika Padukone. It said that it will create a rift in society. Also, it is interesting to note that when the film Padmaavat starring Deepika Padukone was facing the objection and demand to stop the release of the film, it was Kangana who refused to sign the petition that went against the opposition of the film. Now, we hear that the makers are on the verge of changing the title and removing the term mental from Mental Hai Kya.
