Its a big time celebration for the makers of Mission Mangal as the film enters into the 200 Crore Club. The film was released on 15th August 2019 and it been four weeks of its release when the film has secured this position at the box office. As per reports, the total box office collection for the space drama – Mission Mangal is around 200.16 after the completion of four weeks at the box office. It was Taran Adarsh the known business expert and critic who shared this news in the Microblogging site called Twitter.
While sharing the news, he wrote its the first second-century film for Akshay Kumar at the box office. Enlisting the figures the film had gained since last Friday, he said the film collected 63 lakhs yesterday, while on Monday it scored 61 lakhs, and on Tuesday it scored 1.01 Cr and on Wednesday it scored 54 lakhs. The film scored 1.40 Cr and 2.11 Cr last weekend that made the collection reach to the double century at the box office.
With this, the film has entered into yet another benchmark that helped it gain big at the box office. It has emerged out the first film released on I Day to score a double century at the box office. The film entered the 100 Crore club with the first week of its release, giving a tough fight to another film released the same day called Batla House. MM scored 29 Crores on the first day itself, which turned out to be the highest grosser film in Akshay Kumar’s career. The film has an ensemble star cast and deals with the mission of ISRO in 2013.
