As the movie moves ahead, it is a fast forward scene to modern-day Pune. Bittu, a shy and introvert cosmetology student, who is seen struggling with his own unrequited love for Bella. Soon he is haunted by strange visions as his life takes a dramatic turn during a family wedding in his ancestral village. Here, a long-buried secret is unearthed – the true origin of the malevolent spirit Munjya, and its connection to Bittu’s own family.

As we see the rise of stress and tensions, Bittu finds himself possessed by Munjya, leading to a heart-wrenching loss. With Bella now in grave danger, Bittu must find a way to appease the vengeful spirit.  A shocking revelation emerges – Munni, the object of Munjya’s obsession, is none other than Bella’s grandmother. This discovery sets the stage for a thrilling climax. Bittu, aided by a powerful exorcist, confronts Munjya in a suspenseful showdown.

Munjya defies genre expectations. It’s a ground-breaking blend of horror and comedy that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.  The film’s masterful direction, screenplay, and cinematography are complemented by exceptional performances.
