Nidhi Singh is an actress who hails from Allahabad and born in the year 1986. She did her schooling from Allahabad followed by her college from St. Xaviers her hometown. While doing her college, she was simply clueless about her career and loved to read the long monologues of Shakespeare, which she used to recite in her college lawns.  Her family was extremely well educated and hence when she disclosed the idea about acting, it shocked everyone, however, her parents insisted to complete her education and she went on to do her masters in advertising from Mumbai.

Nidhi Singh is being known as a practical person before trying her luck in the world of acting, she went on to work in an advertising agency based in Bombay called JWT. There she got loads of exposure to her talent and made her clients and her boss happy with her good work. She soon started the work of assistant director on a freelance basis for several ad films apart from being the part of theatres. Thus in the first half she worked and in the next half she was engaged in acting. Soon she went on to catch different auditions, which helped her crack her first venture in the world of acting.

During working in JWT Nidhi Singh came across Shernaz Patel who revived her dreams of being an actor and soon after working for two years there she got the chance to enter the world of her choice. After several auditions, she finally crack the one got MintoGol commercial. Soon her career started taking the right shape before she actually started working for TVF. Soon TVF called her to perform a parody called Emotional Atyacharge that went on to give her work like Permanent Roommates, KID and Man’s World. She also acted in a couple of Web Series on the web channel at YouTube called Being Indian.
