Renowned actor and director Riteish Deshmukh is all set to make his mark on the OTT platform with the Jio Cinema series, Pill. Known for his stellar performances in hit Bollywood movies and successful Marathi films, Deshmukh is expanding his horizons with this medical drama series. JioCinema Premium will soon be offering his debut series, Pill.

Pill is a gripping medical thriller that explores the dark secrets and unethical practices prevalent in the pharmaceutical industry. Created by acclaimed filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta, known for his critically acclaimed movies like Aamir, No One Killed Jessica, and Raid, the show tells the compelling story of a whistleblower’s courageous fight against the corrupt and sinister world of pharmaceuticals. The highly anticipated series, Pill, marking Riteish Deshmukh’s debut in the OTT space, is set to premiere on JioCinema on July 12.

The recently unveiled motion poster gives a glimpse into the intense battle between morality and corruption, as the whistleblower confronts the shady practices within the pharmaceutical industry. Pill will be available exclusively on Jio Cinema as an original series. Viewers can access the show through a premium subscription, starting at Rs. 29 per month.

PILL, created by Raj Kumar Gupta and produced by RSVP Movies in collaboration with Ronnie Screwvala, promises to captivate viewers with its compelling portrayal of the eternal struggle between good and evil.In addition to his upcoming series, Riteish Deshmukh has recently appeared in the Marathi film Ved. Fans can also look forward to his performances in Raid 2, alongside Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapoor.
