Priyanka Chopra’s Former NYC Restaurant Sona Announces Closure
Sona, the renowned New York City restaurant known for its modern Indian cuisine and elegant ambiance, is preparing to bid farewell. In an Instagram announcement, the restaurant, which quickly gained popularity as a celebrity hotspot, revealed that it will be closing its doors on June 30.
The official Instagram account of Sona shared the news, expressing gratitude to all the patrons who have visited over the past three remarkable years. The post read, “After more than three remarkable years, Sona will be closing. We have immense gratitude for everyone who walked through our doors. It’s been our greatest honor to serve you.” The announcement also mentioned that Sona’s final service will be a brunch on Sunday, June 30. Sona was co-founded by Priyanka Chopra and Maneesh Goyal in 2021. The restaurant’s grand opening was celebrated with a special ‘pooja’ attended by Priyanka and her husband, Nick Jonas.
