Rajeev Pillai was born in Rajeev Govinda Pillai is a not a known face in Bollywood as he is a very much known name in south Indian movie word. He hails from Kerala and did his schooling and college from there only and ended up doing his dentist course from one of the leading dental and medical college from Kerala. He started his career working as a dentist but at the same time continued to playing career and doing acting ventures. He then left his profession of dentistry to enter the world of sports and acting. He even went to London to do his masters in Dentistry where the bug of acting and sports caught him. Soon he came into discussion when he was seen in the prestigious tournament called CCL (Celebrity Cricket League).
His career in B Town started with the film called City of God, which was directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. He is a regular face of Lakme Fashion Week and the popular Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week and then moved out to Couture Week as well. In his career of modelling he has walked in a number of ramps for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and even for designers like Rohit Bal, Rocky S, Varul Bahl, Digvijay Singh, Arjun Khanna, Chaitanya, Abdul Halder, Tarun Tahiliani, Leconet Hemanth and Abhishek. He then was seen in the Kerala Strikers team in the 2012 and 2013 Celebrity Cricket League. He is currently doing two films- first one the Hindi movie called Guru Dakshina, while the other one is the Tamil movie called Aambala.
His other south Indian movie includes a Tamil film called Thalaivaa, which is directed by A.L. Vijay. Besides, he is also a fitness freak and often seen in gym giving the right shape. He has even built up his six pack abs without seeking any external help but just by reading books and researching online content.
