Release of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Delayed; New Date to Be Announced Soon

The eagerly awaited film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, was initially scheduled to hit theaters on July 5. However, due to the overwhelming success of Kalki 2898 AD at the box office, the release date of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is expected to be postponed. The makers have now officially confirmed the film’s new release date, stating, “On the request of the exhibitors and distribution fraternity, we have mutually decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.” The statement also mentioned that the new release date will be announced soon.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha marks the eleventh collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Tabu, and fans are eagerly anticipating their portrayal of star-crossed lovers. Director Neeraj Panday revealed that he was unaware of their off-screen friendship but believed that they were the perfect cast for the film. “Two years back, when we were deciding on our next theatrical release, the concept of this film came to me. It was lingering in my mind in some form even before that, but I didn’t actually sit down to write about it until two years ago. Ajay and Tabu were my first choices. However, I don’t know if their friendship off-screen played a role in their on-screen chemistry because I have no knowledge about their background,” explained the filmmaker.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is an epic love story that follows the journey of Krishna and Vasudha as their young relationship faces numerous challenges. Eventually, their love is tested when Krishna commits multiple murders, leading to his imprisonment for life. After 22 years, Krishna is released from prison, and the story revolves around his final reunion with Vasudha. When asked about the success of Kalki 2898 AD, Sangeeta Ahir, the producer of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, expressed her joy. “It is great for us that the audience has returned to theaters, and happy days are back,” she said, highlighting the positive impact of the audience’s return to cinemas.
