Reports: Abhishek Bachchan Purchases Six Borivali Apartments Worth Rs 15 Crores
According to recent reports, actor Abhishek Bachchan has expanded his real estate portfolio by acquiring six apartments in Mumbai’s Borivali area. The total value of these properties is estimated to be Rs 15.42 crore.The apartments are part of the Oberoi Sky City project developed by Oberoi Realty, as per documents obtained by Zapkey.com. Collectively, the six units have a carpet area of 4,894 sq ft, translating to a per sq ft rate of Rs 31,498. The sale was finalized in May 2024, as reported by Money Control. Details regarding the individual apartments are available in the property registration documents:
- The first apartment spans a carpet area of 1,101 sq ft and was purchased for Rs 3.42 crore.
- The second and third apartments have an area of 252 sq ft each, with a price of Rs 79 lakh each.
- The fourth and fifth apartments measure 1,101 sq ft and 1,094 sq ft respectively, and were sold for Rs 3.52 crore and Rs 3.39 crore respectively.
- The sixth apartment is also priced at Rs 3.39 crore.
Situated on the 57th floor of a high-rise building along the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Borivali East, these apartments offer stunning views. Notably, the building has already obtained its occupation certificate, ensuring compliance with regulations.Abhishek Bachchan has previously made notable real estate investments. In August 2021, he sold a property in Worli, which was also developed by Oberoi Realty, for a staggering amount of Rs 45.75 crore. Interestingly, the actor had acquired the Worli property in 2014 for over Rs 41 crore.
Despite his ventures in the real estate market, Abhishek Bachchan continues to reside with his parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, at their Jalsa residence in Juhu.
