The final trailer for “Maidaan” has been released, marking Ajay Devgn’s second film of 2024 following “Shaitaan.” Based on a true story, the film features Ajay in the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The movie, directed by Amit Sharma, also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh. The narrative is set between 1950 and 1960, a time when India was still adjusting to its newfound freedom from British rule, infamous for their divide-and-rule policy. Therefore, when Rahim is accused by the association of favoring players from Bengal and Hyderabad, he challenges them, questioning their inability to view everyone as part of India!
