Varun Dhawan is now gearing up to step into the shoes of Salman Khan as he is now keen to replicate his character from David Dhawan’s 1997 comedy film ‘Judwaa’. The movie wherein Varun is taking up the the lead role has showed Salman Khan in a double role in the earlier version. Varun was seen speaking at an event that Salman gave him advice regarding the remake, saying that the young actor should listen to his father (David Dhawan).
According to Indian media reports, Varun further said that Salman advised him not to be over smart. Varun added that he can’t reveal much about the film before time, and his character will be different than what Salman did in the first film. In the film, the original cast members include Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor who will also make a cameo appearance. The sequel Judwaa 2 will feature Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez as female leads. A few weeks back, the first look of the film was released and fans have totally loved it.
Majority of the fans found the geeky avatar of Varun to be very cute. There are rumors that Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor will reprise their roles from the original for a cameo in Judwaa 2. Earlier Varun was seen saying that he has never shared screen with Salman Khan and that he is eager to do so. The actor informed that before the shooting started, Salman has sent a carton full of jeans for Raja’s character as he felt that these jeans would go perfect with the character, now Varun is trying them all for the film.
