Shah Rukh Khan’s gets his 5th Leg Injury; now Goes with Arthroscopic Surgery
Shah Rukh Khan is known to have seen wrecking and hurting his knee while shooting for a number of films. These simply has brought a number of orthopaedic surgeries to fix his knee. Once again, SRK had to undergo for an arthroscopic surgery procedure of his left knee yesterday. The doctor has confirmed the successful surgery and asked King Khan to rest for around 3 to 4 days before he resumes work. Meanwhile, SRK was seen doing his tweet on the microblogging site – Twitter asking his fans and friends to pray for him.
The man behind fixing his knee was Dr. Sanjay Desai who operated SRK. The doctor said that the surgical procedure was carried out over the left knee at the known Breach Candy Hospital. SRK has been complaining about a repeated pain and even swelling over his left knee since past few months. The surgery also confirmed a condition called Chondral Wear of Patella has been witnessed in the same, which comes owing to the repeated injuries over his knee since past few years. According to the arthroscopic evaluation future management would be chalked out.
As per the doctor, his recovery seems smooth and quick, which will give the discharge tomorrow. Since 1997, this is his 5th leg injury, which all started when he was doing a sequence in Koyla and end up breaking his knee. However, he continued doing the shooting and later went for the knee surgery. The very next year, he was seen injuring his right toe when he jumped in a sequence of Dil Se. Similarly in 2001, during a shooting for the film One 2 Ka 4, wherein he was seen breaking his right ankle. In 2014 again, he was seen felling down over his head during the shooting of Happy New Year, which brought forth shoulder fracture and torn knee patella issue.
