We all know the Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput adorable chemistry and you must be knowing the candid revelations on Koffee with Karan stunned everyone. The couple was so comfortable with each other at the show that we started to admire them even more. However, no one had ever imagined in their wild dreams that a 34 year old actor like Shahid would marry a young girl of 21 year like Mira. In fact, the couple also understands their big age difference while they were still seeing each other.
But they still fell in love and got married and are currently very happy together. Though a few people, on the other hand failed to get impressed and have been constantly been trolling Shahid on social media about the huge age gap. The actor has been quiet till now, however he has finally hit back, which goes simply fitting and worth catching. Talking about the trolls, Shahid Kapoor said, “A mainstream star having an arranged marriage is unique. It is not every day that a Hindi film hero goes and marries someone no one even knows of. I am an actor. Most parts of my life are up for discussion, by default. It won’t stop whether I like it or not. If people cross the line, we do get displeased. But the line itself is wide.
We can’t be touchy and say, bhai mere baare mein koi baat nahi karega. Mira seems pretty chilled out about what’s written. My wife decides what she wants to do, where she wants to go, how she wants to go and who is allowed in the house. It is natural. In fact, that’s how it should be. We have to point out that the way Shahid responded is commendable to say the least. This answer tells a lot about his chilled out personality. Talking about his work, Shahid is gearing up for his next release – Rangoon. Also, he has even completed the first schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati and will shoot for the remaining portion in the coming few months!
