This man is a known face in the TV world, who has acted into a number of TV serials apart from featuring in slew of TV commercials including that of Airtel, Sprite, Colgate, Tide, Rotomac and LG. He is better known for the TV serial called FIR, while also is known to host a couple of TV shows including the IPL over the Sony Max. He was born and brought up in Nagpur, a city based in Central India of Maharashtra. He did his schooling and college from this place and later shifted to Mumbai the city of dreams to pursue some creative careers. Luckily, he came across the TV world and got the chance to act and do a couple of TV ads to start his acting career in Tinsel Town.

He started his career in TV world by hosting the show called Studio Disney and later got the chance to work in Bombay Talking in 2006, which was the daily soap on Zee Cafe. One year later, he got the chance to play Inspector Pandey in the popular Sub TV based serial called FIR, which gave him prominence in the acting field. He was applauded for a couple of awards for playing this character in this TV Show. He even got the chance to host the IPL over the Set Max in a program called Extra Innings T20. This really brought in the limelight, which made things better for his acting career. He later was seen in the cameo role of Neeraj in the 19th episode.

He entered in Silver Screen in the year 2011 with the movie called Shaitan starring Sonali Sachdev, Kirti Kulhari, Sheetal Menon, Neil Bhoopalam, etc, which was a big hit over the box office. Also, his performance was applauded and he got the Best Male Debut award from FIlmfare. He then did a Tamil based movie called Leelai, which was directed by Andrew Louis, starring Manasi Parekh while his next Bollywood venture was Boss wherein he played the character of Akshay Kumar’s younger brother. Besides, these movies, he did two short films in English called The Other Woman and The Private Life of Albert Pinto. Gayatri Pandit is his elder brother, who was even the assistant director to different directors who did movies including Boss and Desi Boyz, while his second brother Arjun Pandit is a known sports anchor on the popular channel called Star Sports.
