Its been quite some time to hear about Shruti Haasan, the popular South Indian and B Town actress known for her husky voice. But as per the latest, the actress is known to be heading to Hollywood as she has bagged a global venture. Yes, you have heard it right, as wee see Shruti Haasan joining the star cast of the US-based Network’s next series called Treadstone. The series is based on the Jason Bourne universe. As per reports, the studio has even ordered for a pilot to carry out the series earlier in April and later shifted to this venture.
Talking about Shruti Haasan, she is joining the series along with stars like Brian J Smith and Jeremy Irvine and the trio were spotted in Budapest as they were there to kick off the shooting at this place. The Gabbar Is Back actress will be playing the character called Nira Patel who happens to be a young woman from Delhi. She is a trained assassin but lives a double life as she is often seen in her regular job of a waitress.
The series is produced by Ben Smith, while he is the same man who co-produced the series with Tim Kring. The TV Show would soon be going to follow the Operation Treadstone, which happens to be a fictional CIA black operation program, which has developed super spy Jason Bourne to be played by Matt Damon as he did in his early four movies. The first season of the said series is going to follow the sleeper agents all over the world as they are all set to resume their mission.
