Sidharth Malhotra Alerts Fans to ‘Fraudulent Activities’ Circulating in His Name on Social Media

In a distressing development, a fan of Sidharth Malhotra based in the US reportedly fell victim to a scam, losing Rs. 50 lakhs in a fraudulent scheme allegedly involving the administrators of a fan page dedicated to the Shershah actor. The fan, identified as Minoo Vasudevan, known by the username desi_girl334 on a social media platform, detailed her experience and the manipulation she faced at the hands of individuals named Alizeh and Husna, who claimed that Sidharth was in trouble. In response to the fan’s outcry, Sidharth Malhotra took to the platform to caution fans against such fraudulent activities.
In his message, he stated, “It has been brought to my attention that certain fraudulent activities/scams have been circulating on various social media platforms, allegedly claiming to be associated with or in relation to me, my family and people claiming to be my fans and seeking money.”

He further emphasized, “I want to assure everyone reading this that neither I nor my family or team support any of this. I urge all of you to exercise caution when dealing with such matters. If you receive any suspicious requests, report them to the appropriate authorities and avoid spreading false information.” He concluded by expressing, “My fans have always been my biggest strength and your trust and safety are my top priorities.” He signed off with, “Big Love and Hug!”The fan, Minoo, accused Alizeh of propagating false narratives, including claims that Kiara Advani had harassed Sidharth.
She recounted how Alizeh had allegedly conveyed that Kiara Advani had threatened Sidharth and his family, attempting to compel him into marriage and even resorting to black magic. Minoo expressed her concern for her idol and noted that Alizeh had introduced her to someone claiming to be a member of Sid’s team, named Deepak, who corroborated Alizeh’s stories.This troubling incident sheds light on the dangers of fraudulent activities on social media and emphasizes the need for vigilance and caution, especially in interactions involving financial transactions.
