Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have officially tied the knot after maintaining a private relationship for years. The couple exchanged vows in a civil ceremony at Sonakshi’s residence, surrounded by their family and close friends. They also shared the first pictures from their all-white wedding. Later in the evening, the couple hosted a celebration at the renowned restaurant, Bastian in Mumbai, with several luminaries from the Bollywood fraternity in attendance. Sonakshi, adorned in a red saree and sporting sindoor, made a grand entrance with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. Preceding the Sunday celebrations, the couple organized an indoor party for friends and family on June 20, followed by a mehendi ceremony on June 21, which was graced by the presence of Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. Shatrughan Sinha’s participation at the party dispelled rumors suggesting discontent with the union and his potential absence from the wedding ceremony.

Addressing these rumors, Shatrughan emphasized that he would indeed be present at the wedding, asserting that Sonakshi’s happiness is his own and expressing his approval of her choice of partner. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal initially kept their relationship discreet, refraining from sharing pictures together and evading media attention. Zaheer made his film debut with the Salman Khan-backed drama “Notebook.” Reports suggest that Zaheer and Sonakshi first met at a party hosted by Salman, who also launched Sonakshi’s career with the blockbuster “Dabangg.
