Sonakshi Sinha is not playing a Pakistani journalist in Noor

The B Town actress Sonakshi Sinha who was supposed to play the character of Pak based journalist in her upcoming movie Noor, is no more doing the character claims the Akira actress. The film Noor is based on the novel by a Pak based author Saba Imtiaz called You’re Killing Me.

She said at the trailer launch program of her upcoming movie Force 2 when she was posed the question about her role in the film Noor. All she said that she will not be playing the role of a Pak based journalist in the movie. The story of the film is adapted keeping Mumbai at the backdrop. The novel deals with a single young woman and her bittersweet tale called Noor who is very much attached and passionate about her work journalism and writing stuff.

The film is directed by Sunhil Sippy who will be doing the debut with this film in direction while the film is all about the misadventures of Noor and the real love life as she is seen navigating her own way via Mumbai. The film also has Shibani Dandekar, Kanan Gill and Purab Kohli, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on 7th April in 2017.

Sonakshi Sinha seems to be continuing her action role with Force 2, which all started with Akira. She then said that she is fond of action movies and has been part of such movies in the past. She then said that she love watching films of this genre. Every time, she watches the action heroes, she finds the thing cool. She thanked the director of Akira for giving her the chance in an action film, while her next movie Force 2 too has her in similar avatar.
