Of course, you know this young man who was dragged in the case of the infamous Jiah Khan’s suicide case. Sooraj Pancholi is the son of popular actor Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, who is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with a movie called Hero, which is a remake of the same title movie of Subash Ghai of 1983. He is born and brought up in Mumbai, while completing his schooling and college from his hometown only. Being born in an influential family of actors based in Bollywood, he had a good launch pad for his career in the industry.

Sooraj Pancholi started his career as an assistant director for top directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the movie Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. He also assisted Kabir Khan for the movie Ek Tha Tiger starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. Apart from assisting for these movies, he also learnt martial art and dancing, which helped him to find his debut role in the movie Hero, which he is doing in opposite to Sunil Shetty’s daughter – Athiya Shetty. In fact, Hero is also her first movie in Bollywood, which makes this film the debut for both the actors in the lead role. The movie is directed by Nikhil Advani, which is basically a remake of 1983 Hero remake directed by the veteran S Ghai. The movie is expected to hit this December.

Talking about the Jiah Khan’s suicide controversy, he happens to be deceased boyfriend but their relationship has been often a roller coaster one. The two were in a live in relationship since few months, which, however, led him to custody after the suicide of the model and actor Jiah Khan at her Bandra based residence. He had to be there under cell in Arthur Road jail for 23 days causing too much trouble to him and his family, however, later he became free from all his charges. This has therefore led the Pancholis to file a Rs 100 Crore defamation suit against Rabia Khan the mother of deceased actress.

He is a known party animal in B Town, which has led to a couple of controversies. As per sources, he was even seen in a lip lock scene with Bollywood actress Riya Sen in one of the parties, which even led problems in his and his then girlfriend Jiah Khan. Apart from being a party animal he love to make his body and as per sources, Salman has supported and guided him to make his perfect physique for his upcoming debut movie Hero. He is seen in a very fierce and action role in it.
