Both Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar are known for their one-liners hence often become the part of various shows. The duo has remained the part and parcel of such events recognizing and applauding talents from B Town at various award platforms. This award ceremony will be organized on 14th January 2017 at the NSCI Dome at Worli. The date has been confirmed by the Filmfare.

This time the Filmfare has introduced a new category of JIO Filmfare Short Film Awards, which means the winners in this category will be felicitated.
Karan Johar will be on the short film jury and thus was seen applauding the virtues of digital media. He explained how the digital medium has evolved from the traditional medium which has given the emotional transition.
