Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior Now a tax-free film in Maharashtra
It seems too little too late for the makers of the film Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior as it was finally declared as a tax-free film by the state government. The film starring Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan has been moving great guns at the box office and is likely to enter even the 200 Crore club in the coming future soon. The film is based on the life of Maratha Warrior, Tanhaji Malusare who is a great hero of Maratha history and he is loved all across the nation.
Now, considering the film based on a Maratha hero, the state government has finally declared it a tax-free. Uddhav Thackeray the CM of Maha was quick to declare it as tax-free in the state. Ajay Devgn was quick to thank the CM on Twitter expressing his gratitude towards him. Check his tweet as shared below:

Now, this seems a good news for the makers. While, the film so far has bagged around 175 Crores at the box office and has beaten the other film Chhapaak released on the same day. A rift between the two was created by the fringe elements for Deepika’s visit to JNU that somewhere helped Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior to a great extent.
