War 1st Weekend Box Office Report – Huge Collection

WAR

As the film starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff called War hit the screens last week, it was an instant hit on the first-day collection not less than 51.60 Crores. Although it did not break the first-day box office collection of the Aamir Khan starrer film Thugs of Hindostan but as of now, it has beaten the total collection of his film released last year in the extended weekend. Having released on Gandhi Jayanti, the action thriller was able to reap huge dividends at the box office.

The film on the second day collected 23.10 Cr followed by 21.30 on Friday and 27. 60 Crores on the fourth day. The Sunday witnessed the collection of around 41.5 Crores giving a mighty total for the movie. As per reports, the 1st-weekend box office collection for WAR is 165.10 Crores, which is huge for any film of Hrithik and Tiger. With these collections, the film was able to reap the strongest opening at the box office breaking all the records made in the past.

With barely any opposition as it released solo on the 2nd October, the makers (Yash Raj Films) were able to leverage the best. If you sum up the collection of the Telugu and overseas collection for War, it has even crossed 225 Crores at the box office. The upcoming holiday of Dusshera will also help the movie to gather a good footfall for it. Stay tuned to know more about the action thriller, till then you can comment below and let us know what do you feel about it as under.
