The FIR lodged against the Bollywood stalwarts like Farhan Akhtar and Ranbir Kapoor has been in discussion for a while now. However not many would know, why the two veterans from Bollywood got indulged into the legal tangle. The FIR was registered for the duo on a criminal breach of trust and forgery for endorsing a known online store called Ask Me Bazaar and fooling the online consumers. The complaint is the man called Raja Bansal who is a lawyer and based in Keshav Nagar stated in the IFT at the Madiyaon Police Station as per the IPC Section of 406 this 19th September 2015.
The same charges have been registered against the owner of the online store Mr. Sanjiv Gupga along with other associates of the company called Sanjiv Gupga, Piyush Pankaj, Sriniwas Murti, etc. As per the complaints, he had ordered a 40 inches LED TV from the said shopping portal last month and paid around 30K using his debit card, but has failed to receive the product even after ten days as promised by the store. Bansal therefore filed an FIR against the company in light of this issue alleging both Farhan and Ranbir taking the online consumers for the ride using their brand value in the market. He further said that the shopping site merely send out the bills and not the product.
