This Friday was a busy one with loads of movies hitting the theatre, however, not a single Bollywood movie was able to do better except the action flick from Hollywood called Avengers 2. Right from the first day, the movie Lateef starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui failed to get the response, it did deserve. Despite giving some of the best performances over the silver screen, the movie of Nawazuddin Siddiqui failed to get the right response, as it was expected.
All thanks to the much awaited Hollywood flick called Avengers 2, the bollywood movies hitting theatres really were torn into pieces. None of the film was able to witness a collection crossing one crore figure. As per reports, Lateef First Weekend Box Office collection tolled to around 60 lakhs, which isn’t an impressive figure for any low budget film. You cannot just expect to see a good collection for these B Town movies for obvious reasons. Similar was the story with other Bollywood films including Kaagaz Ke Fools and Jai Ho Democracy, the only star of the weekend is Avengers 2.
